We expanding our offices and Monument Office Park is feeling the buzz. Our team is growing at such a fast pace that we have had to invest in more coffee mugs. We are also adding an additional training room to be able to accommodate more of our valued clients for the important training sessions. Our technical team will be performing a scheduled server upgrade during the June/July holiday. This upgrade is designed to significantly increase the performance and reliability of our cloud-based platform.
Several weeks ago, Google announced some major changes to Google Classroom and hinted at more changes to come. One of those that were hinted at, Google Forms integration, has now become a reality.
Jan Kitshoff, the current CEO of Principal Software, has resigned as CEO with effective date 1 June 2016. Jan, who has a passion for education and who has been involved in the education industry since 1999 also played a pivotal role in the acquisition of Principal Software, Smart Software and Pencilbox on behalf of Open Learning Holdings, the holding company of Principal Software. Jan will remain involved with Open Learning Holdings as a non-executive director and will also provide strategic input to the management of Principal Software.
We would like to thank Jan for his contribution to Principal Software and we will be relying on his guidance and input going forward.
It is with great excitement that we are launching our long awaited creditors module. This module has been in development over the past year and Principal Software would like to thank all of our schools for their support and patience. We believe this module will once again put Principal Software at the forefront in providing schools with the best integrated school administration software on the market.
Principal Software was represented at the School Business Managers’ Association’s 2016 Annual Conference. This conference was the very first hosted by the SBMA and was very successful.
